Biography/Wiki

Ajay Bhushan Pandey has extensive experience in finance. He was the Revenue Secretary before becoming Finance Secretary. In the contemporary economic scenario, his vast experience may come handy for Nirmala Sitharaman to turn the tide in favor of Indian economy.

Career

Ajay Bhushan Pandey was also the CEO of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It may be noted that he was at the helm of UIDAI for close to 9 years. He along with Nandan Nilekani had made this a success.

He is also currently Chairman of GSTN – GST Network. When the GST collection is going southward, his experience with GST may also be quite helpful.
