Shobhna Yadav had started her career in
journalism with ITV News, a small news network. She soon joined INDIA NEWS which
gave her popularity. She was known for her unbiased approach in debate shows
and her insistence to ask probing questions to all panelists, irrespective of their
political or ideological colours.

- Shobhna Yadav used to fight with her husband Sanjeev before Batla encounter. Sanjeev was leading a team to crack the Delhi Serial blast case and was unable to give any time to her and family. Interestingly, when Batala Encounter was happening, Shobhna was reporting live. She didn’t let people know about her relationship with the officer who has planned everything.
