Ankita was recently in news for her verbal confrontation with a Congress MLA. The rogue Congress MLA Shakuntala threatened her to show her aukat. The reply of Ankita, where she said that the MLA is free to call anyone, had gone viral.
On 26^th January, 2020, Ankita had led the parade for Republic Day in Raipur. She had become the first woman from Chhattisgarh to do so.
