Jitender Mann was one of the most notorious gangsters of Delhi and Haryana in the contemporary times. He was better known as Gogi among his peers and policemen. He was shot dead by two assailants of his arch rival Sunil Tillu inside the Rohini Court premises. The Police has also made counter attack and killed both of assailants who were there in the lawyer's attire.

Jitender Gogi was running an extortion racket in Delhi and some parts of Haryana. He had strong influence in the Southern Delhi and Sonipat region of Haryana. His rivalry with Tullu gang resulted in the murder of more than 20 criminals. He was in the news for the brutal murder of singer Harshita Dahiya.

Career

Gogi had started as a small time pick pocket and rose on to become a dreaded gangster. His friends and family claims that he used to dream about becoming an SI in Delhi Police. However, some turn of events had made him a criminal.

He had killed Harshita Dahiya in the most inhuman manner.

Gogi had recently surrendered before Delhi Police. At that time also, it was believed that he had surrendered to save his life from Sunil Tillu.

Jitender Gogi had released a video which went viral after his surrender. Actually, Delhi Police had claimed that they have arrested most wanted criminal Gogi. Now, the video has made it quite clear that he had surrendered fearing encounter.
Gogi had fled from police custody in 2016. He was last seen in Burari shootout in which he had killed three people and a woman.
The killing of Gogi has raised serious question about the security at Rohini Court. This was not the first time when shoot out happened inside the court premises.
