Charu has the distinction of being the first female head of the legal cell of BJP. She is a part of the media panelist of the party and put forward the point of views on socio – economic and political issues on various news channels. She is currently the national in charge (Legal) of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha.

She has also worked tirelessly to provide free legal aids to women all over India who might be in distress because of social issues.
