Gopal Kanda is an Indian politician and businessman. He is currently the MLA from Sirsa in the Haryana Assembly. He is the President of Haryana Lokhit Party, an outfit founded by him.

Gopal Kanda is both an inspirational figure as well as someone who should have been behind bar. Geetika Sharma had alleged Gopal Kanda the reason behind his suicide. He had to resign from the ministry following this. He was arrested and later got bail.
Recently Delhi court has absolved Gopal Kanda from Geetika Sharma suicide case. He is now a free man with no serious case. However, the acquittal has also raised a serious controversy.
It may be noted that the mother of Geetika Sharma had also committed suicide.
