Rizwana was born and brought up in a middle class family in Varanasi. Her father is known for his affable nature. She had started to write for local news media just after school days. However, after completing education from BHU, she had emerged as a feisty reporter.

Rizwana was a Leftist. She had written many stories where she used to ask for Indian women to become stronger and give trolls a fitting reply. Unfortunately, she herself was not as such a strong woman. The way she has committed suicide can be termed as a cowardice act.

Initially, the suicide of Rizwana was given a Hindutva turn by some anti – national forces. Some Muslims had even tagged Princess of UAE and few Pakistani leaders showing that that Muslims are in danger. Yes, Rizwana used to write against Narendra Modi Government. But, there is no foul play in her unfortunate demise. She has committed suicide because she couldn’t handle the rejection by Shamim. Period.
