Rehana started her career as a BSNL employee. However, her entry into the dubious world of Indian liberals happened when she had put two watermelons on her breast for photography in response to a comment made by a professor. Her act during Sabrimala movement was even more disgusting. First, she had entered the premised without being a devotee and Hindu. And, then, she had taken a blood soaked sanitary pad at the temple.

Rehanawas dismissed by BSNL where she used to work. The investigation by BSNL had found that her Facebook post had created communal tension and she had broken the service rules and hence she was terminated from the service.

Manoj Shreedhar, the husband of Rehana, had also written and directed a movie named Eka, in which Rehana had also acted.
She was also part of the infamous Kiss of Love Protest in Kochi of 2014.
