Munawar Faruqui is an
Indian stand – up comedian. He is known for allegedly making curse and abusive remarks on
Hindu Gods to make people ‘laugh’. He is said to be a Hindu-phobic Islamic bigot masquerading as a comedian. In a recent announcement, he has declared to terminate his career as a stand up comedy. He has taken this decision when a video of him was gone viral where he was mocking Hindus men, women and children who were burned alive in a train in Godhara by Muslims.

laugh at the workplace. Over time, he decided to make this his main career.

- An FIR has been filed against Munawar Faruqui. However, he along with many other comedians immediately apologized from Shiv Sena for abusing and mocking Hindu Gods and Shivaji. Apologizing from a party other than BJP is not against freedom of expression for fake people like him.
- Munawar was recently attacked by Hindu activists in Indore. He was again mocking Hindu Gods and Goddesses. He was also arrested along with four others. He could get out of jail only when the SC granted him bail. In any case, violence against people with whom you not agree is completely unacceptable. What Hindutva forces did in Indore is bringing a blot on Hinduism.
