Pratibha is the topper among women in the most prestigious examination of India. The result of this year’s examination has been delayed because of Covid – 19 pandemic.

Pratibha Verma belongs to a humble middle class family of Sultanpur, UP. The family is no more a middle class as they have produced some very qualified kids, including Pratibha and her brother Sudhir Verma. Her elder sister, Priyanka Verma, is a doctor.

This was the second attempt for Pratibha in the UPSC. In her very first attempt, in 2018, she had secured All India Rank 489. She was allotted IRS and was undergoing training.
