Rani Nagar is an IAS officer of Haryana Cadre. She belongs to 2014 cadre. Ever since joining the premier service, she has been in news for all the wrong reason. Recently, she has told that once national lockdown will be lifted, she will resign from IAS.

Biography/Wiki

Rani Nagar comes from a humble family in Badalpur, GB Nagar, UP. She has always been a studious student and was always wanted to become an IAS. She had cracked UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2013. It is quite interesting to note that she is the first GURJAR woman in the history to become an IAS officer. Few women had cracked UPSC CSE, but none of them had scored high enough to get IAS.

Career

Rani Nagar started her career as a probationer. From the very beginning, she was showing strange mentality. She was always regarded as an honest and hard – hard working officer. However, some of her actions were against the ethos of civil services.

Rani had first came to limelight when she had accused the ACS Sunil Gulati for sexual molestation.

Sunil Gulati is currently the Assistant Chief Secretary of Haryana. Because of allegations of Rani Nagar, he may not become CS.
