Rupanjan married Rezaul Hauque in 2007. They couldn’t live together for long and decided to get divorced in 2018. Currently, she is single and not planning to tie knot in near future.

Rupanjana has also rode the #MeToo wagon, albeit a bit late. She has alleged that popular Bengali actor director Arindam Sil had misbehaved with her. She said that Mr. Sil had called her to office to go through the script of Bhumikanya. At that time, he behaved in an inappropriate way. However, she didn’t say the nature of behavior. There was no allegation about sexual assault, though.

Arindam Sil has accepted that he had called Rupanjana. However, as expected, he denied doing anything wrong with her. He is little bit perturbed and not able to understand why Ms. Mitra is making such a malicious allegation.

As things stand, nothing is going to come out of this allegation. There is absolutely no proof.
