Suhas L Yathiraj is a 2007
batch IAS officer of UP cadre. He is a ‘divyang’ – physically handicap. He has
represented India at International level in para – badminton tournaments. His performance in the Tokyo Paralympics, 2020 (held in 2021) had been spectacular. He had won Silver medal in SL4 category of Badminton and thus had become the first IAS officer to win a medal at this event.

Suhas is a man of steel.
He has overcome many challenges to become what he is. As an administrator, he
is known for his honesty and integrity. He has shown sharp presence of mind in
making quick decisions. Some of his biggest achievements was management of Covid - 19 pandemic in NOIDA. He was also the DM of Prayagraj during the last Kumbh Mela, which happens to be a big responsibility.

Prayagraj and Azamgarh as the District Magistrate.
His performance as the DM of NOIDA or G B Nagar was spectacular for variety of reasons. He was recently transferred out of NOIDA and has now been appointed as the Sports Secretary to the Government of UP.
