M Gunasekaran, Tamil Journalist: Profile, Wiki, Age and Family

Gunasekaran is one of the most controversial editors of Tamil electronic media. He is alleged to have made News 18 Tamil, where he used to work, as an extension of the media center of DMK. When people started to question his professionalism, he resigned from NEWS 18 Tamil and joined DMK family owned Sun TV Network as its Editor - in - Chief. His joining of Sun News is a clear manifestation of his compromised journalism.

More than supporting DMK, what has irked rational Tamilians is Gunasekaran’s hate for anything related to Hinduism. He has been accused of blasphemous comments against Hinduism.

Gunasekharan has resigned from NEWS 18 Tamil after his deeds were exposed by some You Tube channels. The channel has also filed defamation case against Maridhas, the You Tube Vlogger. A news channel filing defamation case is rare in India. Maridhas has recently sent terms of compromise to NEWS18 Tamil, but has not sent any such proposal to Gunasekaran. He doesn't want to fight on many fronts. Some supporters of Gunasekaran have gotten elated as if the terms of compromise was sent to him.
