Interesting and Lesser Known Facts
  • Nidhi had slapped some BJP workers when they had took out rally against section 144 imposed by her. There is absolutely no doubt that her action was against the rules. She should have behaved in a mature way, especially when BJP activists were not making any ruckus. Since there was no violence, she could have only filed cases against them for violating section 144.
  • Unfortunately, a scandalous statement was made by a senior BJP politician against her after this incident. The statement was so sexist, that it is not even possible to write down here.
  • Nidhi has been found in violation of Civil Services conduct rule by an inquiry done by SDOP Priya Verma. She is accused of slapping an ASI without any reason. The then DGP of MP Mr. V. K. Singh had written to the Chief Secretary regarding this issue. In the missive, the DGP had demanded action against Nidhi Nivedita for the ill treatment meted out to a police officer.
